There are cultural, economic, climate, environmental and other differences between Sri Lanka and Australia.
In Sri Lankan families, the father is the leader and head of the family. He earns money and takes care of the family. Other family responsibilities go to the mother. She has to do all the housework and look after the children.
However, I can't see differences between husbands and wives in Australia. They all work and all have jobs. In Sri Lankan society grandparents live with their children and grand children. They look after their children until they die. They live together in extended family groups and have very good relationships with each other. However Australians live in small families.
Australia is a rich country with a small population. It is well planned and organized whereas Sri Lanka is a developing country with a big population. It doesn't have good plans or a good economic system. Therefore Sri Lankans have less buying power.
Sri Lanka has a rainy and dry climate which includes topical monsoons, but it does not have seasonal changes. However, Australia has a Mediterranean climate with temperatures rising to 42 degrees Celsius in summer and going down to 2 degrees Celsius in winter.
Sri Lanka has good soil and good water resources. There are lots of waterfalls, rivers and lakes. Many beautiful mountains and parks give natural beauty to Sri Lanka. I can't see natural beauty in Australia - most seems to be manmade.
You'll find that Australia has a lot of natural beauty, but you have to leave the cities and suburbs to find it - except for our wonderful beaches!
