My City

I come fromThailand. There are 77 provinces including my city Sakon Nakhon, which is in the upper Northeast.

Sakon Nakhon is on the Phu Phan mountain range and there are many forest temple retreats for meditation. These temples are also where famous monks who are well-known in meditation circles reside.

Sakon Nakhon is 647 kilometres from Bangkok and has an area of 9,605 square kilometres. It can be reached by aeroplane, bus, car and train.

My district is Ban Muang which is in Sakon Nakhon province.
Languages spoken in Sakon Nakhon are a mix of Thai and Lao; however, plain old Central Thai is perfectly acceptable.
